How to choose an online course

3

Check the credential and license

A retraining diploma is issued only for programs of 250+ hours by licensed providers; a school certificate is an internal document.

FAQ

How does EduCompass Hub make money?

Some links to schools are affiliate links: if you follow one and buy a course, the school pays us a commission. It never affects the Compass Score, table order or reviews: comparisons are sorted by price and scores are editorial.

What is the Compass Score?

An editorial course rating from 0 to 10 across seven weighted criteria: program quality, practice, price and value, instructors, support, career outcomes, credentials and license. Unrated courses show a dash.

Are the prices up to date?

We list the lowest full price when paid upfront as of the date we checked the school page; installments are shown separately. Schools change prices during promotions, so confirm the final amount on the school site.

Can I get a refund for an online course?

Refund terms are set in the school's offer agreement; under Russian consumer law you may cancel the service and pay only for the part already delivered. Some exam-prep schools advertise a results guarantee: read its conditions before paying.

How does a retraining diploma differ from a certificate?

A professional retraining diploma is a state-recognised document that entitles you to work in a new profession (250+ hours, licensed provider, prior vocational or higher education required). A school certificate is unregulated; its value is the school's reputation and your portfolio.
